Theory

The theory test consists of two parts – a question part and a hazard perception part. Both parts have to be passed at the same time. The theory test must be passed before you can apply for the practical driving test. The pass mark to pass the questions part of the theory test is 43 out of 50 and for the Hazard perception test you must score 44 out of 75.

Once you have passed the theory test you will have a period of 2 years to pass your practical test.

If you do not pass your practical test within the 2 year period you will have to re sit your theory test again.

At ILM Your instructor will offer advice and support to help you through  this process
